A dime is actually a dollar with all of Hillary Clinton’s new taxes taken out.


OK, so Donald Trump is yelling that the Republican primary system is “rigged.” What does that say if he wins?


Ted Cruz is delusional.


When President Obama leaves office, the USA’s economy will be 100 percent better than when George W. Bush left office. And what bothers me is that the current Republican candidates all want to implement the same economic policies as Bush.


Why is local government hurting for money with all the uncollected property taxes in Friday’s paper? This is not fair to those who do pay their property taxes. What is wrong with our government?


Wichita – all hat, no cattle.


Republican voters who work in industries that sell products to foreign countries: Check how your U.S. representative voted on the reauthorization of the Export-Import Bank. Those who voted against it actually voted to make it more difficult or costly for your company to sell products overseas.


Will the Kansas Legislature ever morph into a legislative body with at least a little common sense, capable of compromise and working for Kansas society as a whole? Maybe the upcoming primary and general elections will help.


Those who claim allowing grocery stores to sell alcohol will help the state’s finances are either ignorant or liars. The only thing it would do is increase the pain, suffering, death, loss of business and cost overall to this state’s citizens.


I find it interesting that the biggest offenders speeding through school zones are the parents pulling out of the parking lots of the schools.


As we are cruising down Kellogg, maintaining a safe subsonic speed and remaining away from the fray, my wife tells me that I drive like a little old man. I quip, “How do you think I became a little old man?”


I think some people need to quit blaming this world and their spouses for all the unhappiness they feel, and just take a moment to reflect on how blessed they really are.
