It is a terrible feeling to realize that the United States has wasted and lost eight years because Obama was allegedly president.

I don’t understand. We have a Republican-controlled Congress, and yet the country’s problems are all President Obama’s fault.

Obama tells me it’s my duty to help Syrian refugees. I tell him it’s his duty to keep Americans safe. I think he takes his duty lightly.

Interesting to read The Eagle editorial board criticizing Gov. Sam Brownback because he finds others to blame for the state’s woes (April 28 Opinion). We have had a president for seven years who always finds others to blame for the country’s woes, yet the board doesn’t criticize him. Double standards?

The evangelical Christians voting for Donald Trump have to tell their children to leave the room when Trump is speaking on TV because of his language. Are they sure that they are reading from the right Bible?

It’s true Ted Cruz is a liar. But the saddest part is he not only lies to everybody about everything, he even lies to himself about his prospects of being president.

Cruz panders to the PC crowd by selecting Carly Fiorina for his running mate. Pathetic.

I’m really excited about power-mad Carly Fiorina being on the ticket. We might actually get to watch a coup.

Carly sings to Cruz’s children on the bus. Cruz recites “Green Eggs and Ham” to protest the Affordable Care Act. Ought to be an interesting combination. God help us.

If the Democrats had as many candidates running for president as the Republicans do, Bernie Sanders would be leading the Democratic presidential race.

It may be true that Republicans are not all racists, but I would give odds that most all racists voted Republican in 2008 and 2012.

Anyone who would deny a child with epilepsy access to medical marijuana is heartless.

If we could empty the jails of all the pot smokers, there would be plenty of room for all the bankers and politicians.

When the representatives of Oxford House promised the neighbors in College Hill that there would not be more than eight residents in the Quentin house, they knew full well that other Oxford Houses in Wichita are not in compliance with zoning codes. They are not to be trusted.

With all due respect for Franklin Graham, I don’t want a non-Christian praying for my child. If you want prayer in the school, send your child to a Christian school. Our schools should be guided by Judeo-Christian principles, but I believe it does matter who leads the prayer in the schools.
