Survey finds Pat Roberts is second least popular senator
As the nonpartisan media company Morning Consult surveyed 62,000 registered voters across the nation since January, it gauged the popularity of U.S. senators. The most and least popular, respectively, were Sen. Bernie Sanders, I-Vt., and Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, R-Ky. Second from the bottom, though, was Kansas’ own Pat Roberts, with 40 percent approval and 42 percent disapproval. Sen. Jerry Moran, R-Kan., showed some soft support as he seeks re-election this year, with 41 percent approval and 31 percent disapproval. – Rhonda Holman
