Opinion Line Extra (April 29)

It seems none of our world leaders likes Barack Obama. If this continues, he is likely to develop an inferiority complex.

Well, the Republicans are concerned with jobs, the economy, keeping our country safe and fixing taxes. The Democrats are focused on whether the toilet seat is up or down.

I do not want grown women following little boys into the men’s restrooms.

Many young people are jumping on the socialism bandwagon – no worries, because the government will take care of everything. The government is currently telling us which bathroom we can use. Why don’t these young people go on the web and find out the difference between capitalism, socialism and communism?

I really want to go to North Carolina to a government building and into a women’s restroom, beard and all. What can they do? Arrest me? (Get it?)

Ironic that these corporations are punishing the same conservatives who are responsible for the business-friendly legislation that attracted them in the first place.

Most of the Kansas legislators will be running for re-election this year. If they can’t do their jobs now to fix the Kansas deficits, then why do they think they should be allowed another term? Vote in the primary to keep them out of the general election.

If each time our governor comes up with a new reason for the state’s economic crisis, it must mean the previous ones weren’t it. The latest reason was falling commodity prices. President Obama must feel relieved that it wasn’t his fault after all.

Business owners who got the governor to give them the tax break: Didn’t do any hiring. Paid debt. Upgraded equipment. Put money in their pockets. That equals: Kansas, you’re broke.

Governor, you need to quit blaming the world for your failures. Man up and admit you made a mistake, say you are sorry, and do what is necessary to fix the economy by putting the tax base back where it belongs. Your tax cut is the only reason for the shortfall.

How is it that everyone who has their house burn down never has insurance? Then they want others to fix it. “I can’t afford insurance, but I can afford toys, trips, booze, tattoos, smokes, drugs.....”

By working on the east side, one can enjoy a 20-cent per gallon savings on gasoline and never complain. Wake up, Doo-Dah.

I don’t know which are more ridiculous – the car commercials or the lawyer commercials.

I am sick of hearing about Prince. The guy was a musician, not a god.
