The world is fighting Islamic terrorism, starvation and disease, but Democrats are fighting for men to pee in the ladies’ room. Insanity.


I have news for all you Henny Pennys and Chicken Littles out there. Trans people have been using the stall next to you for years. They are just so good with their stealth lifestyle that you never knew it. Same for the fitting rooms. Feeling safer now?


Why hate transgender people? They are no less human or less moral because of this. And they do no harm to the rest of us. And why is it anybody’s business?


LGBTQ bullying: If you hold to the traditional understanding that biological sex, not feelings, determines gender (understood through all human history), we will accuse you of hate and discrimination. If you refuse to fully accept our new understanding of gender, we will bully you until you succumb to our agenda.


Nice to see a kid like Macey Hensley is getting recognition for casting our state in a positive light, because God knows our governor is doing one lousy job of it.


When Brownback spokeswoman Eileen Hawley mentioned “failed states,” was she referring to Kansas or Syria?


Of course Gov. Sam Brownback is afraid of refugees. They can come to Kansas, where we have open carry and no training for guns. The only group the governor does not fear is the children, and he’s ready to bully them right out of an education.


I believe the federal government studies that show early education makes no difference by the third grade. Maybe the Children’s Initiatives Fund is just paying for a free babysitter.


If the role of government is to be so small, why do we even need a County Commission? The commissioners should all step down and save the county some money.


On Tuesday Mother Nature did what the city doesn’t – clean the streets.


As the hail and heavy rains poured down, from my kitchen nook window I watched a female robin refusing to leave her nest and her unborn. There’s a lesson there, if only the young people can see it.


Lady in the white Mercedes SUV: Put up your grocery cart just like everybody else. Otherwise, next time karma may pay you a visit in the Kansas wind.
