What politicians say poor people spend their money on tells us far more about what those politicians spend their money on.

One of the main reasons that our politicians do not solve anything is because they do not address the issues. All they do is paint their opponents as worse. We are pushing $20 trillion in debt. We need leadership, not this political baloney.

If you weren’t scared of Barack Obama becoming president, you certainly should not be afraid of Donald Trump.

Well, some of us voted for Obama and some of us voted for Brownback. Boy, do we know how to pick winners.

There is a new drought warning for Kansas. Brownback and his cronies, while exempting the rich, are sucking the middle class and poor dry with their income, sales and property tax increases, plus allowing utilities a rate increase anytime they want one.

Kansans, unite: Recall Brownback. It’s past time.

I wonder if Brownback has figured out how to get the funds from the Governor’s Turkey Hunt into the state’s general fund yet? You can bet he has Ray Merrick working on it.

Here’s a thought: If you take in $290 million less, spend $290 million less. Simple math. Right until Common Core kicks in.

If Volkswagen can make software to cheat environmental testing, the software in voting machines can be manipulated to cheat. Voting machines need to be audited.

We can either do away with all voter ID laws, or we can ensure that obtaining a new driver’s license or state ID is completely free, because it’s unconstitutional to charge a fee to vote, even indirectly (poll tax).

The American Legislative Exchange Council and the Kansas Policy Institute – just two more mouthpieces for the 1 percent.

I love all the people complaining about the payouts at the Kansas Star Casino. They obviously don’t know that the payout percentages are set by the state of Kansas, not the casino operators. Welcome to the State of Doo-Dah.
