A problem Hillary Clinton has is that no matter what she says, she’s called a liar.

Looks like the only way the GOP’s Stop Trump shenanigans can succeed is if the party abandons Ted Cruz and starts working to make certain Hillary wins in November.

What happened to America to make so many deadbeat derelicts expect others to pay their way?

To those inclined to support any of the Republican candidates: Have you considered their tax plans are suspiciously like those we have in Kansas? Doesn’t give me a very warm feeling.

Remember the next time you vote: It is not only Brownback who put Kansas in the toilet and made it the laughingstock of the nation. All the Republican legislators also helped, big time.

Well, well – Kansas legislators are all of a sudden maybe willing to talk about withdrawing some of those infamous tax cuts and expanding Medicaid. Could this be a burst of logic? A willingness to face facts? Oh, that’s right – they’re all up for re-election.

USD 259 could save a bundle just by eliminating all the assistant principals at the middle schools. What do they do anyway? They do the principal’s job, so there’s more leisure time to worry about the important things like if there are scuff marks on the floor in the lobby.

Anti-pot people seem to think that if it’s legalized, people will be constantly high. Why? Alcohol’s legal, but there are laws against being drunk on the job or while driving.

Newspaper reporters need geography lessons. Seventh-ranked Northeast Magnet High School is located in Bel Aire, not Wichita.

Columnist Leonard Pitts goes in more circles than a circus pony trying to demonize conservatives, past and present. His desperate effort to make saints out of the radical liberal characters out there is even more dizzying. A blank space on Mondays would be better reading.

After reading Pitts’ column “Some conservatives lie about history to clear conscience” (April 18 Opinion), I wonder why he and the Obamas stay in this country. It’s obvious they hate white people.

Would my Cox bill be cheaper if they quit sending me junk mail?

When you pull into Sonic to place your order, shut off your engine. No one wants to smell your exhaust while you sit there and wait for your order and, worse, while you eat and gossip on the phone.

Thank you to the cashier lady at Bosley’s Tire store who returned the extra $100 bill I accidentally gave her. In today’s self-centered world, one can still find honesty at work.

Lord, help me be a productive person today and not spend all my time thinking up clever things for the Opinion Line.
