Opinion Line Extra (April 22)
It is 1 mile from the Supreme Court to the National Archives in Washington, D.C. Would someone please take our liberal justices over there to show them that we still have a Constitution?
Some 17,465 people died from overdosing on illicit drugs like heroin and cocaine in 2014, while 25,760 people died from overdosing on prescription drugs. Number of deaths from marijuana overdose: zero.
When we get sick enough of school shootings and sex offenses, will we fund serious research into identifying boys at risk for such behavior and what kind of early treatment helps, and stop slashing mental health funding? Or will we just continue prayerfully, thoughtfully wringing our hands?

Crying about police surveillance in Old Town? Stay home. Police are present where the trouble is. I guess you fondly miss the shootings and attacks there.
One contributor was right about the Kansas Star Casino. Nothing like it for “tight” slots. It’s like they are laughing in our faces when we go and leave there. I won’t go to Prairie Band and I’m getting there with the Kansas Star. It doesn’t make sense to be that tight.
