Opinion Line Extra (April 13)

Only in our government could the post office lose $5.1 billion annually and reduce the price of stamps from 49 to 47 cents. They obviously missed every math and economics class ever offered.

Can you imagine the importance of a governor being challenged by an affair (Alabama), but not one being challenged by his state’s possible bankruptcy (Kansas)?

A “quick-fix” education spending bill done in 48 hours, though Brownback and his legislative cronies had known it was needed for 42 days. Then the Legislature took a month break. The best break for Kansans is to vote these do-nothing mouthpieces out of office.

Fox News personality Megyn Kelly needs to get down off her super-inflated ego and buy some bathroom deodorizer like the rest of us do. She’s only fooling herself.

People make reservations, pay good money, park, walk in, buy food, sit down to enjoy an Intrust Bank Arena show, and what they get are rude people standing up, and all they see are hind ends wiggling in their faces. Why are there no rules and why can’t something be done?
