Oh, oh. FBI Director James Comey says he’s not under any pressure to finish the investigation on Hillary Clinton and all her e-mails before the November election. He must have just received a call from Obama to stall the FBI’s work in direct support of the Democrats.
No matter how much Ted Cruz’s supporters disagree, he is not natural-born and therefore can’t be president. Why hasn’t someone tried to stop him? Democrats are salivating at the prospect of the Republican-nominated candidate being disqualified, and so is Donald Trump if he gets slighted.
If Mitt Romney was who he purports to be, he would be supporting the people and not opposing them.
Please, let’s see guns inside the GOP convention in Cleveland. Then we can see how real men and real women of the gun lobby settle their differences.
I’m sure Obama is going to wipe out the Zika virus, just like he took care of that Ebola thing. What? It’s still around?
Hey, Kansans – let’s give Gov. Sam Brownback an early Christmas present. Let’s all take a 90- to 180-day extension on our taxes. If the wealthy can get tax breaks, let’s give ourselves a break, even it’s for just 90 to 180 days.
I can’t start my little lawn mower because of the emissions it might produce, but we are covered in smoke from the north and now from the south. How can they monitor our actual conditions with these crazy conditions?
A writer suggested I have a chemical imbalance because I object to the wasted taxpayer money on bike lanes. It’s because of the imbalance of fairness. I pay property tax on my car to have the privilege to use the streets. And must keep my car safe at my own expense.
If I could afford to live in Lawrence and go to KU, I’d do it. Unfortunately, I wasn’t born with a silver spoon in my mouth.
North Carolina played in the NCAA men’s basketball final. Once again the top-ranked KU Jayhawks watched that game from Lawrence.
Every year all but one team “chokes” during March Madness. Last I checked, KU still won a championship in 2008. How about your team?
TV basketball analysts just don’t understand. It isn’t about tall players, shot blockers and high school All-Americans. Successful basketball is about the basic fundamentals played as a team – defense, rebounding, getting good shots and good skills shooting the ball from the field and the free throw line.
