If you are ignorant enough to think small businesses are spared tax payments, I would invite you to pay my quarterly tax payment.
Small businesses are paying some taxes (property and sales, for example) just like most everyone else. Many are not, however, paying state income taxes. Therein lies the woes of the inadequate state budget.
One thing you can say for Gov. Sam Brownback: He’s a uniter. Totally unaffiliated groups have joined forces to defeat him and his lackeys in the Legislature. Never have I seen people so upset and united in one goal.

We all believe that humans are dead when their heart stops beating and they have no brain activity. That same logic makes it difficult to understand why a 7-month-old fetus is not considered a human being.
Picture this in your mind. Go to the Oval Office. Do you really see Bernie Sanders behind that big desk? Very scary thought. I need to wake up from this nightmare.
Ted Cruz claims Wisconsin was a “turning point” for him. How many more is he going to get? His “turning points” are beginning to equal Obama’s “phony scandals.”
