At some point it occurred to us to monetize the very freedom the republic was built on.
Dang it, Obama, hurry up! You are running out of time to try to take away our guns.
Strange how people condemn our president for not doing enough about an ISIS attack in Belgium but get outraged because he wants to do something about the 289 people who are shot each day in the U.S.
Republicans act like Obama needs to be physically strapped with ammo and on site to fight ISIS. None of them expected George Bush and Dick Cheney to have their boots on the ground to fight their illegal war in Iraq.
The vast majority of Muslims are not terrorists. I get that. The vast majority of terrorists are Muslims. I also get that. Instead of carping and crying about “Islamophobia,” or whatever the complaint is, maybe the “Muslim community” that is so loving should rise up and clean out the bad guys.
In politics there is no truth. There are only the focus group-tested answers that they believe the public will accept. And they still don’t get why the electorate is angry. I guess they will have to go back to the focus group for the best answer.
Arguing with Donald Trump is like arguing with my wife. Whatever the facts need to be to prove her case is what she thinks the facts are, and there’s no convincing her otherwise. Can you say infallible? Or is it delusional? That said, the girl shares some of the responsibility.
Women, if you want to be equal with men in all things, you don’t press charges when someone grabs your arm when you touch a candidate who is leaving an event. The video of Trump’s campaign manager and the reporter shows no roughness, and the “bruises” were barely visible.
When Trump’s campaign manager touched the female reporter, she should have flopped like all the KU basketball players do. Then she would have gotten the foul call.
The KU superstar one-and-done basketball players choked in the big dance.
The “poor old” National Association of Basketball Coaches’ Division I coach of the year has won the big one, and the little one 12 straight times. Thanks, Perry Ellis, for four great years at KU. Also four great years at Wichita Heights public high school.
If the state wants to close the funding gap, it should put dozens of troopers along I-235 in the Kellogg construction zone. I’m the only one who drives 55. Idiots pass me like I’m sitting still. Same down I-35. Same down K-15 through Derby.
Someone in this town needs to open a breakfast joint that serves Kung Pao bacon and eggs, Kung Pao biscuits and gravy, Kung Pao chicken fried steak and eggs, Kung Pao Belgian waffles. C’mon, people. Help us out.
