Mike Pompeo makes some odd communication choices

If Rep. Mike Pompeo, R-Wichita, thought it was his place to ask the Islamic Society of Wichita to cancel a speaking engagement by someone he believes is a “Hamas-connected sheik,” he might have done so privately, without issuing an inflammatory statement amid local talk of an armed protest. And when Pompeo had a problem with the statements of Kansas Sen. Jerry Moran favoring a hearing for President Obama’s U.S. Supreme Court nominee, why did the congressman think it appropriate to engage his delegation colleague and fellow Republican via Twitter, and with the bizarre statement that the “Constitution does not require hearing on #SCOTUS nominee and conservative principles demand no hearing be held”?
