Now that the FBI has gained access to the terrorist’s iPhone, it should release the method to the public.
There are a lot of cowards in America, considering the number of people who can only feel safe by carrying a gun.
I remember in second grade a kid brought his shotgun for show-and-tell. Nobody freaked.
Never in the history of America has it been more important to do whatever it takes to counter the lies, bigotry and malice cultivated by Donald Trump.
Trump’s recent pronouncement of his worldview can be summed up in five words: ready, fire, aim, aim, aim.
Even if Trump doesn’t get elected, it’s like the wave that almost hit your house.
It is disgusting that anyone tries to shut down freedom of speech at Trump rallies or any other candidate’s rallies. A peaceful discussion of opposing ideas is what should be happening.
Donald Trump has many successful ventures on his resume; Hillary Clinton, not so many.
Please give us a new first lady or first fella without a goal of their own. (No Child Left Behind, healthy lunches, health care reform, etc.)
It is obvious that the Democrats’ platform is “Lie, Cheat and Steal.”
The Islamic Society of Wichita did the right thing by canceling its questionable guest speaker. The respectful comment about cancellation was appreciated, too. This raised the bar of respect for the society in our community. Continue to show us who you are. We want to know.
I saw a man in a restaurant refuse to be seated next to three men of Middle Eastern descent. I wondered if he would refuse to sit beside three African-American or Hispanic men. Apparently if you can guess a person’s religion by his skin color, it’s OK to be a racist.
Poor old University of Kansas. They have a basketball coach who can’t win the big one.
If The Eagle gave 5 percent of the coverage it does for WSU sports to the fine Wichita Symphony Orchestra and Youth Orchestras, the WSU School of Music events and Chamber Music at the Barn, it would be a vast improvement.
