Opinion Line Extra (March 30)

Republicans: For years you sided with the idiots to crush the Democrats. Now you have to side with the Democrats to crush the idiots.


Everyone is encouraged to celebrate their heritage and sexuality. Donald Trump’s message tells me that it’s OK to be white and straight without guilt. Now we can all celebrate together.


Trump is right. I am also tired of other countries ripping us off. The treaties made with other countries do not benefit the common man in this country.


I will cancel your vote for Trump. The boy is an idiot.


Trump is the great divider. This guy will top Obama for dividing us.


For heaven’s sake, people – Bernie Sanders is a lifelong, dedicated, hard-core Marxist. Less than five minutes online researching his record will confirm that.


Not controlling the border is not controlling the drug problem in the United States.


The GOP Congress doesn’t know the Constitution it professes to adhere to. Article 2, Section 2 says the president, along with “the advice and consent of the Senate,” will appoint Supreme Court justices. Nowhere does it say “the people should have a voice in the selection.”


People who seem to gloat when a disaster occurs and the president is not immediately available to them personally need to reassure themselves that the presidency is where the president is. He is available for advice when needed.


Everyone just needs to take a deep breath. Our president, Joe Biden, John Kerry and Hillary Clinton have everything under control. We just need to not be afraid of the bad guys, put our feet up, our hands behind our head, and go on with our lives. Feel better now?


Listening to state Sen. Ty Masterson on finance issues is like listening to Herm Edwards on coaching. Neither one has a clue.


If you don’t want your car’s suspension destroyed, I recommend you detour around Kansas, the tea party’s shining star of a state, until moderate Republicans join commonsense Democrats and take back their state.


Someone expressed dismay at how many find it “right” to vote based solely on ethnicity or gender instead of for the best candidate. Is this any different from the Republican who finds it right to vote only for a candidate in their party rather than the best candidate?


Six Wal-Mart heirs have more wealth than the bottom 42 percent of Americans, but Wal-Mart can’t afford to pay more than poverty wages?


What is the point of daylight saving time, other than to allow golfers to play a round after work? The energy savings are probably minuscule.
