The governor and legislators of Kansas should all have to go back to school and learn how to govern in a constitutional and correct manner.
I hope everyone who reads the paper and votes, votes out the legislators who voted “no” on the proposal to reduce sales tax on food over the next three years. Maybe they are affluent enough that they don’t notice how much they pay, or they just don’t care.
Of course our elected officials won’t remove the tax on food. Give up tax money? Are you crazy? Only for the fat cats, not the average Joe. Who do you think they work for?

“Democrat” is a noun. “Democratic” is an adjective. A lot of people don’t seem to know the difference. But that’s probably because those people are Republicans, and education is an afterthought for them.
To the person who complained about a new library, more bike paths, and free bike accessories, and who said that less than 5 percent of the population benefits: I say that you and your so-called majority are in fact in the minority.
They say milk is good for your teeth. You know what else is good for your teeth? Minding your own business.
