I’m tired of our Kansas state government passing laws that pre-empt local county and city governments.
Does anyone yet understand how or why President Obama was awarded the Nobel Peace Award in 2009?
Two Americans killed in Brussels. Obama yukking it up in Cuba. Hillary claiming to carry on the Obama legacy.
Obama appeared very comfortable in Cuba. It was like he was back where he belongs.
With the recent attacks in Brussels, perhaps we in America should consider making bombs illegal, or at least put background checks in place.
The terrorists win when we undermine our Constitution and our religious freedoms. We’re fighting a terrorist organization that is killing innocent civilians regardless of religion and nationality. We’re not fighting a religion.
I’m not responsible for other people’s actions. Those wanting apologies from Muslim Americans for acts of terrorism need to apologize for Fred Phelps and the KKK, right? Let’s have Trump apologize to those two WSU students for that motorcycle rider.
Religious organizations do not wish to provide full medical services to women – reason being it’s against beliefs. Most men are sent to war to kill, which is against most religious teachings. If the men are religious, can they all opt out?
It is obvious that the Republican platform is “Hate, Bigotry, Intolerance, Arrogance and Greed.”
Where are the “true” Christians in regard to Trump calling himself a Christian? The man isn’t a Christian any more than Obama is. He doesn’t even know how to say “2 Corinthians.” Then there are his past, present and future views of homosexual marriage.
It is ridiculous to say that Democrats are behind the protests at the Trump rallies. Every Democrat with any sense is hoping that Trump is the nominee.
As a man, I desire for the right woman to be president someday. But not yet – not Hillary. Our country’s turmoil will continue and expand if she is elected. Her picture personifies the word “untrustworthy.”
Columnist Leonard Pitts Jr. hit the nail on the head in “The Republican Party has become an incoherent mess” (March 7 Opinion). Republican legislators should be ashamed of their tactics in promoting gridlock and thereby preventing the progress of our country these past seven years.
Pitts is so shallow. He simply parrots the hackneyed narrative: Republicans are all white, hate minorities and the poor, love war and conflict, and are selfish and stingy with their ill-gotten gain. All liberals and minorities, however, are good, honorable, brave and highly intelligent.
