I saw a K-State T-shirt for sale that said “Willie for president.” Finally, a viable and realistic alternative.
With the president back from another family vacation, I hope someone will explain to him that ISIS is a real threat to world peace.
Do you still think it’s a good idea to take in thousands of Syrian refugees? How much European violence will it take to convince you that it’s all part of the ISIS plan to infiltrate and take over the West? Are you comfortable with being complicit in that?
The fact that Americans have now died as a result of Gitmo detainees being released by Obama will not sit well as his legacy.
After watching President Obama do the tango, I am convinced he has two “left” feet.
I wonder if CNN or MSNBC will be covering the first family’s Easter church service attendance this year.
Columnist Cal Thomas wants the kind of Supreme Court that awards the presidency to the loser of the popular vote, who then shrugs off a stern warning of a pending terrorist attack, who then blows the lid off the Middle East by attacking Iraq and opens the way for ISIS.
Senate Republicans refuse to hold hearings to approve a Supreme Court nominee because they want to ensure that the next justice will strictly interpret the Constitution. However, a strict constructionist would tell them that they are required to hold hearings.
Now, I understand. In Kansas, it is OK to carry handguns and military assault weapons without a license. It is also OK for the Legislature and Gov. Sam Brownback to practice medicine and education without a license.
The failure of the House to override Brownback’s veto on the STAR bonds bill showed what a bunch of gutless wonders they are.
Bill O’Reilly’s next book should be titled, “How Brownback and His Cronies Are Killing Kansas.”
The answer to school funding is to have parents pay their fair share.
The city of Wichita wants to put more cameras up on the streets to spy on everyone, and nobody even complains. Keep putting your heads in the sand, and you will lose the lower part of your body and not even see it coming.
The Eagle did it again. The article “Kansas has its share of must-see museums, on and off beaten path” (March 20 Insight) left out the Kansas Aviation Museum. I guess The Eagle thinks Wichita’s rich aviation history does nothing to promote the title “Wichita, the Air Capital.”
What the grocery stores sell that looks like a tomato is a tomato. It’s just a boring tomato. Want a good one? Buy a plant and grow your own.
