Sometimes it is better to do nothing than something ridiculous and stupid. Can someone please pass that along to the Kansas legislators this session?
Do we really want to rely on the 12 to 15 percent of citizens who bother to vote to determine if we can raise needed tax revenue? That will happen next year when the new tax-lid bill kicks in. Cities and counties need to raise local property taxes before that happens.
Making sure voting machines work honestly is just as important for fair elections as making sure there are no fraudulent voters, so the audit of the machines should be allowed.
If voting didn’t matter, Kris Kobach wouldn’t try so hard to stop you from doing it.
Funny how the only ones wanting the campus religious discrimination bill were the Christians. All the other religious students wonder why it’s even needed. More “small” government Kansas forcing itself where it’s neither needed nor wanted.
New library, more bike paths, free bike accessories. Wichita City Council spending of taxpayer dollars is out of control to benefit less than 5 percent of the population while the rest oppose. Try listening to the will of the majority.
We’ve had so little rain. Maybe the City Council should vote to repave the streets and sidewalks with “please spit” bricks.
If the Cubans are smart, they will distance themselves from the U.S. Why? They are not being threatened by ISIS. They are minding their own business.
It’s reported that President Obama’s approval rating is rising. No doubt it correlates to the fact that he will be leaving office in a few months.
Hillary Clinton was on the tube at the same time “Criminal Minds” was on. How apropos.
People say Clinton should be in jail. Why? The Republican panel looked foolish at the Benghazi hearings. Have you noticed Republicans don’t talk about Benghazi anymore? Even some Republicans say the e-mail “scandal” is a political ploy.
If Clinton becomes president, does that mean she’ll wear a dress to the inaugural ball? It would be a nice surprise.
Do you want Peter Pan for president? Then vote for Donald Trump. Neither of them ever grew up and both have small hands.
Democrat thugs are responsible for the violence at Donald Trump rallies.
