Perhaps Congress should not attend Obama’s State of the Union address.
ISIS sympathizers hacked our military while President Obama was attending a meeting on cybersecurity. We can’t say they don’t have a sense of humor.
The saddest day in American history was the day that Obama got re-elected.
Obama sank to a new low level by not attending the march in Paris. Was he afraid that his Secret Service couldn’t protect him? They would be distracted by the prostitutes, so maybe it’s a good thing he didn’t go.
Why wasn’t President Obama in Paris to honor the victims of terrorism? It was too cold to play golf, so he must be on a “no-fly list.”
After the terrible attack in Paris, the French are realizing how important the right to free speech is. I wish our government would get the same message. We egregiously violate individuals’ and businesses’ right to free speech every day with the serving of national security letters.
“Ultraconservative” is an oxymoron.
Acceptance of same-sex couples, marijuana legalization and health care. If you have not benefited from any of these, immigration reform is on the way. Try flowing with the wave this time.
Obviously, Kris Kobach did not go far enough with voter restrictions. We need to deny voting rights to anyone with a low IQ and anyone who voted for an incumbent in the last election.
It appears that Gov. Sam Brownback wants to be the minister to the Kansas people. If anyone needs divine guidance, it would seem to be him.
Gov. Sunshine can count on my prayers that Kansas can survive four more years of him and Susan Wagle and Ray Merrick.
I am tired of the photos in The Wichita Eagle and Topeka Capital-Journal of Brownback. He always has his hands spread, exaggerating the size of crappie he has caught. If you have to publish his image, make it a head shot.
So the Wichita school district sues the state for more school funding and then proposes to spend $44,000 to help gauge its reputation and suggest new branding strategies. I have a new strategy: Stop wasting my tax dollars.
Perhaps the schools could expect more budget money if they taught children to write and sign their names, make change for a dollar and not preface every account with “and I was like and he was like.”
If I should ever be arrested, I pray the arresting officer has had a recent mental health and stress evaluation by a source outside his workplace.
Putting Bill Snyder, Kansas State’s football coach, in the College Football Hall of Fame is a joke. He has never played in a national championship game, much less won one. He has lost more than 80 games.
