Bernie Sanders is by far the best Democrat candidate. Hillary Clinton should drop out of the race.

What’s the difference between a communist and a “democratic socialist” like Sanders? There is only one: what they are able to impose. The longer leftists stay in power, the more they will be able to impose, until there is no difference at all.

Talking about Libya on Monday night, Clinton said that we didn’t lose a single person. In Clinton terms, that is correct. We lost four, including Ambassador Chris Stevens. But at this point, what difference does it make?

Clinton’s e-mails were not classified at the time she sent them. Why not criticize her for the real reason you don’t like her? Because she’s a strong, intelligent, vocal woman.

When you listen to the rhetoric and watch the antics of Donald Trump and his followers, it becomes seriously evident where the dumbing down of America is leading us to.

May I suggest an appropriate quote for the Donald: “If it’s not worth exaggerating, it’s not worth saying.”

Why does The Eagle print a letter that says Obama is a “Marxist Muslim”? If I wanted to read superstition, I would move to the mountains of West Virginia and live with the hillbillies.

Ironically, people demand an armed guard at a bank to protect their money, but don’t want one to protect their children at school.

We’ll know that global warming is bad when our birds start evolving back into dinosaurs.

Gov. Sam Brownback claims we have an economy problem rather than a tax policy program. Each time Whiskey Joe falls off a bar stool, he claims he has a bar stool problem rather than a drinking problem.

New day, new outrage perpetrated on the citizens of Kansas by our governor.

With all the rhetoric coming out of Topeka, I wonder how our legislators would grade out on the TV show “Are You Smarter Than a Fifth-Grader?”

My wife, an educator, explained why our legislators do not like Common Core. Educating citizens to a national standard would keep our inept government out of office and would keep our students from competing in the national job market, thereby keeping an uneducated electorate down on the farm.

End lobbying before it destroys our country.

Why do we go on daylight saving time in the summer, when the days are so long, and go on regular time in the winter, when the days are short? Seems backward to me.

I think I know the guy who ranted about Hillbilly State winning the basketball tournament. He went to Choke University.
