Opinion Line Extra (March 17)

Donald Trump says there will be riots if he’s not the nominee. There will certainly be riots if he is.


Why was it OK for the protesters and thugs in Chicago to have free speech at Trump’s rally, but it wasn’t OK for him to do the same? Trump had to shut his rally down so no one would get hurt. Thugs rule the world, don’t they?


Would Donald the Brave stand on stage spewing his vitriol if he couldn’t duck behind his security at the slightest flinch of a disgruntled onlooker? Very doubtful.


Trump claims to be the great unifier, but his message does nothing but divide. If you’re white, punch a black man; if you’re Christian, hate a Muslim; if you’re an American, electrocute a Mexican on the border.


To all you Trump supporters: Since every candidate has protesters at their rallies, why is it that we don’t see violence at their rallies? Only at Trump rallies. Could it be that he says he would pay legal fees if you punch protesters in the face?


God told me to vote for Hillary Clinton. What should I do?


To the individual who hasn’t met anyone who is not champing at the bit to vote for Hillary: If you walk toward the light and bang on the bars loud enough, someone will let the two of you out of the dungeon you’re trapped in.


The liberals have their abortion rights and will fight to the death to protect those rights. The conservatives have their gun rights and will fight to the death to protect those rights. For these two rights, the theme is death, and humans die as a result of these rights.


What you are seeing with caucuses in every state is a tremendous waste of time and money. Do away with the Electoral College and this ridiculous method of electing a president, and set a date when the winner will be determined by whoever gets the most votes.


It is time for the head lemming, Gov. Sam Brownback, and his followers in the state Legislature to find the cliff.


Smart people can recognize when their ideas and actions are not working and are wrong. They then will take steps to correct them. What does that tell you about Brownback and his legislative cronies?


Doctors and dentists providing charity health care is a great thing. These professionals should spend their continuing education time staying abreast of advancements in their fields, not providing charity care.
