Why not just pay our illustrious state legislators to simply stay at home and do nothing? I think we would all be better off.
Any business that has taken advantage of the 2012 tax cuts and not created jobs should not only have the tax break revoked but be required henceforth to pay taxes at double the going rate, and/or refund the money fraudulently accepted by not creating any jobs.
If I cost my company $2.2 million, I would be fired in a heartbeat. Then they would sue me.
Sen. Joseph McCarthy fooled the nation, insisting communists were rampant in the government. McCarthy was pathetically wrong in his deception. Now Secretary of State Kris Kobach has fooled Kansans, insisting illegal aliens are rampant in voting. Kobach is pathetically wrong in his deception.
Granting everyone the guaranteed rights to hunt and fish is the dumbest idea yet for amending the Kansas Constitution. That stomps all over my rights as a landowner to decide who is welcome on my property.

Why do so many find it “right” to vote based solely on ethnicity or gender instead of for the best candidate? The right to vote is a gift from our past. Great people fought toward the idea of equality, working to diminish prejudice. Let’s not step back in time.
When it comes to the FBI and Apple, the people who are complaining about keeping their privacy are the same people who feel they need to post everything on Twitter and Facebook.
In the Monday fog, I saw hundreds of drivers in west Wichita without lights on. Must be the same people who drive in rainstorms without lights. I guess the bad water trickled down from Flint, Mich., and they have been drinking it.
