If the Legislature and governor would review the state constitution and ensure the laws abide by it, they wouldn’t have to be concerned with “activist” judges. They don’t understand the meaning of “equal.”
The governor apparently wants his Department of Administration to have more control of school funds. As a teacher I’m all for it, if we also give the Department of Education control of funds going to pay the governor and the legislative members. And let’s go with merit pay while we’re at it.
So many Kansans voted for Bernie Sanders because Hillary Clinton is a very unappealing candidate.
Kansans must have short memories, or they don’t mind having a presidential candidate who cost us $24 billion to shut down the government for nothing. I can think of a lot of things $24 billion would have bought. And this is the party of fiscal conservatism?
Have you listened to Hillary and Bernie? If you believe even half of the things they say, well, our country is done. No sane person can take these two seriously. Talk about losers – with either of these, we are indeed.
If you vote for Clinton because she’s a woman, that’s OK. If you vote against Clinton because she’s a woman, you are sexist.
It amazes me that Ted Cruz won the Kansas caucuses. It is demonstrably evident that he will make false accusations to gain a perceived advantage for himself. In other words, a slimy politician. Maybe I shouldn’t be surprised, as Brownback was elected twice.
“We’re going to make America great again.” Does he mean “great” like the last two GOP administrations (Bushes), when we had the two worst recessions since the Great Depression? Also, we had an unjustified great war that will end up costing $1.9 trillion.
How can anyone vote for a bunch of fools who think Hillary’s e-mails and Benghazi are more important to the quality of life of average Americans than universal health care, income stagnation and so many other issues?
I can’t believe that people believe that prayer is the answer to the country’s problems. I’m sure that the millions murdered by Hitler, the ones slaughtered in Africa, and people all over the world in harm’s way prayed. And what did it get them? Dead.
The only thing worse than having to watch candidates is sitting through another My Pillow commercial.
If probiotic milkshakes had been available in the 1930s, my grandmother probably would have died earlier than age 96.
When is the press ever going to understand that the public does not care what the Kardashian and Jenner clans do 24 hours a day?
