I would love to see President Obama on the Supreme Court. But if he wants an excellent candidate, I suggest Anita Hill.

It’s a waste for the media to spend time covering the Republican clown car of candidates. I’ve been talking politics to every person I meet for six months and haven’t met anyone who is not champing at the bit to vote for Hillary Clinton as our historic first female president.

Will the Justice Department or the FBI have the courage to take on Hillary and treat her as they would an average citizen in the same situation?

Mainstream Republicans are fearing their gravy train will come to an end if Donald Trump is elected.

I don’t agree with everything Trump says, but at least he says out loud what I’m thinking and unable to say because of politically incorrect rules forced on me. Otherwise, I would fear phone calls from strangers, or my house being egged or my tires slashed.

Hillary Clinton will not release a transcript of her speeches to Wall Street fat cat groups. What is she hiding? This is just more dishonesty by Clinton.

Tobacco companies have admitted that their products contain many substances that can and will kill you and those around you, and people still use their products. Is it any wonder that there are people who would vote for Hillary Clinton?

Another fire caused by cigarettes. That’s it – background checks for every smoker.

We should experiment with community-based juvenile justice programs before dismantling group homes. The same approach was tried for the mentally ill, shutting down mental hospitals across the country. Now the mentally ill live under bridges and still aren’t getting help.

Fittingly, Sen. Jeff King from Independence shows he has some independence and can reason intelligently (“Kansas Senate VP reintroduces bill to put business owners back on tax rolls,” March 9 Eagle). Let’s hope our other legislators see that fair taxation is needed for Kansas citizens.

Regarding House Bill 2615: How does giving free medical care to the poor equate in any way to earning continuing education credit? Has the Legislature gone even further off the deep end? We could end up with physicians just as far behind the times as state legislators.

I took my middle schooler to the movies. She asked, “So, does ‘R-rated’ stand for Republican?”

It is a real shame when the medical transport personnel moving patients to a rehab facility in Wichita tell the patients they are sorry for the bumpy ride due to the terrible streets.

I would like to thank again the plainclothes officer who held the door open for me Tuesday morning at the Casey’s at Central and 119th Street West.
