Brownback joins Eisenhower commission advisers

Gov. Sam Brownback has joined a committee of distinguished advisers to the Eisenhower Memorial Commission. Sen. Pat Roberts is chairman of the commission, and former Sen. Bob Dole is helping lead a fundraising effort for the planned memorial for former President Dwight D. Eisenhower in Washington, D.C. Brownback said he was pleased to join Roberts and Dole in “working to ensure we properly honor a great Kansan and American.” – Phillip Brownlee
