Ted Cruz’s amazing victory in the Super Saturday caucus gives me yet another reason to be proud of being a Kansan. Thank you, my fellow Kansans, for showing the rest of the world that we, at least, have not lost our minds.
The four hours in the caucus line were worth the wait, particularly on the north side of Century II, watching anti-Trump people. Wichita to Trump: “Don’t come back. We don’t like you.”
Mitt Romney is way out of line to bash the front-runner of the GOP. In 2012 I wanted to vote for him, but it seemed he just gave up. I don’t know whom I will vote for this time. I do know it won’t be anyone Mitt Romney endorses.
Hillary Clinton can’t keep her lies about her lies straight anymore.
You are not a real American if you don’t know what socialism really is. Hint: Democrats are not socialists. Please reread your high school government textbook.
The Hesston mass shooting was ended with a “good guy with a gun” – a professionally trained law enforcement officer doing his job. That’s the only kind of “good guy” there is. If you carry a gun but not a badge, I can’t and don’t trust you.
What the newspaper editorial boards don’t seem to understand (March 7 Kansas views) is that Gov. Sam Brownback and cronies are attempting to starve the government at all levels, no matter the consequences.
It’s pathetic that our governor and Legislature hate President Obama so much that anything he may approve they think is an attack on their turf. Common Core is well-known to not have been designed by the federal government, but their attitude is: “My mind is made up; don’t confuse me with facts.”
What a brilliant strategy to get people off welfare: Cut off welfare payments. Brownback is not as stupid as we thought he was.
If there wasn’t so much welfare, there wouldn’t be any jobs for illegal aliens.
Someone please save Joseph Randle. Does he have no family or friends? There needs to be an intervention. He’s not going to save himself.
Obviously WSU was outcoached in St. Louis.
Congratulations, Shockers, on another great year and MVC regular-season championship. Coach Gregg Marshall definitely deserves a raise.
