If the self-driving cars are programmed to obey the traffic laws and other rules of the road, they’ll never go over in Wichita.
Sen. John McCain sank the tanker program for Boeing a decade ago. If he hadn’t, might Boeing have stayed in Wichita, and be building some or all of the tankers here?
Sales tax on food items is the most regressive tax possible. A wealthy family of four requires the same amount of food as a poor family of four. However, the percentage of their incomes necessary to meet those food needs differs greatly. Nearly every state realizes this, except Kansas.
I saw “The Long Walk Home” again, and I wept. Secretary of State Kris Kobach is still doing what he can to deny the poor, disabled, students and elderly the right to vote. Shame.

I was pretty sure all along that a lot of K-State moms were carrying AK-47s in those oversize diaper bags.
If you want a great start to your day, go to the pickup window at McDonald’s on East Kellogg. In many years, the employees have never failed to offer courtesy and smiles. Thanks to their moms, managers and teachers for starting these kids off right.
