Cruz triumphed in Kansas GOP straw poll; Trump leads in survey
Most of the Kansas Republican Party conventiongoers who participated in a straw poll fundraiser last weekend in Overland Park favored either Sen. Ted Cruz (49 percent) or Sen. Marco Rubio (40.7 percent). Support was just 1.6 percent for Donald Trump. The votes that count will be cast in the Kansas caucuses on March 5. – Rhonda Holman
