Donald Trump and Ted Cruz are making it awfully easy to like Bernie Sanders and Hillary Clinton.
Marco Rubio, Ted Cruz, Donald Trump, Joe the Plumber – doesn’t matter. The worst Republican on the list is better than the best Democrats have to offer.
Our high school exchange student had a part in a play as the devil. He had the audience in stitches with this ad lib: “Yes, you know me by many names … Lucifer, Beelzebub, the Prince of Darkness, Donald Trump.”
The federal, state and local governments are broken, but to support Donald Trump for president when he has no moral or ethical standards will not be an improvement.
Save your money, Koch brothers. You may not get your way this time.
I didn’t realize how much more secure Guantanamo was than our stateside prisons. Maybe we should send all our federal and military prisoners there. Maybe we should vote out lawmakers opposed to anything our president wants, even when what he wants is good for America.
I don’t pretend to be a fan of the president and his policies, but the blatant disrespect that Sen. Pat Roberts showed on his video about Gitmo was wrong. Grow up.
It’s funny how Democrats “reason.” Just nine months into his presidency, Sept. 11 “is Bush’s fault.” Seven-plus years into his presidency, Obama’s dismal economy is still “Bush’s fault.”
Shame on Justice Antonin Scalia for passing away at such an inopportune time. There should be a law against this. Politics?
Should Obama actually nominate someone to replace Scalia, Republicans need to own up to their duties, hold nomination hearings and vote “no.” Not even holding the hearings is cowardly.
Perhaps a big reason for so many divorces is that couples got off to a bad start by wasting $20,000 or $30,000 on a wedding. A big factor in divorces is often money.
Senior citizens need discounted Internet and TV service. I have several friends who cannot pay the monthly fees to have a computer, yet it would give them hours of enjoyment. The same with TV. All I watch are 13 channels plus local, yet I have to pay $80 a month.
With nearly three-quarters of people overweight, I’m beginning to believe that it’s harder to lose weight than to stop smoking.
