Let’s knock down the walls around the Vatican and see how many refugees they will take in.
President Obama made a terrible nuclear deal with Iran, and it has stuck a stick in our eye daily since then. His presidency has been subpar for seven years. He can extend that streak for decades with a Supreme Court appointment.
Republicans for so long have been the party of celebrity – not substance, not the people, not sound economic, social or foreign policy. So it is fitting this cycle is being decided solely on their candidate’s entertainment value. Be careful what you ask for. Republicans weren’t, and now they’ve got it.
I am shocked that anyone can support an arrogant, mean person like Donald Trump. What kind of people are we, and is everyone so blind that he truly will destroy our country? If he is the GOP nominee, I hope the Democratic nominee wins.
Fox News: We deceive, you believe.
The reason everything doesn’t work or costs too much is because of lawyers. If you have a friend who is a lawyer (I pity you if you do), thank them for screwing up our country. Most politicians, judges and lobbyists are lawyers. Wake up, America.
Legislative representatives seem to believe they are empowered to run roughshod over people. They have done nothing for the betterment of citizens. They come up with laws just to show they can, for minimal results. Their actions are showing contempt for any common person.
The idiocy of the Legislature continues, with a bill that could do away with the AP and IB programs. They provide an avenue for those high-functioning students to prepare for the best universities and scholarships. I wonder if the legislators believe that any education is necessary.
Gov. Sam Brownback continues to exempt 330,000 businesses from taxes at the expense of seniors, schools and the middle class. He raids highway funds and uses accounting tricks to make up the shortfall. His plan is a failure, and his actions lack integrity. Legislators, time to step up.
Although I have never lived in Kansas, I’ve been visiting family and friends there for more than 20 years. I live in Venice, Calif. My question is: Are you people willfully ignorant or incredibly stupid? I mean – Brownback twice? And the second time you knew what you were getting. Good luck.
The Feb. 13 quake was just another example of the Kansas legislators taking us for a “ride.” Frack!
They say fluid disposal from oil fracking is causing the earthquakes. The government needs to step up to the plate and put a stop to it. It’s not right. My home is being destroyed so that a few can get rich. Basement walls and garage floors are cracked.
