Donald Trump makes deals. It is what he knows best and brags about. Uncompromising purists on the political right are going to be pulling out their hair if he is elected president.
Trump is leading in all the polls (unfortunately). Why is he always so mad?
Can Hillary Clinton overcome her low honesty polls? Can Trump ever poll higher than 37 percent? And what happens if the answer to either of the first two questions is “no”?
Harry Reid’s Senate refused to vote on Republican-offered legislation. Now Obama refuses to sign congressionally passed legislation. It’s obvious Democrats are the bottleneck in Washington.
So Trump said Obama would have gone to Justice Antonin Scalia’s funeral if it had been in a mosque. That’s the stupidest thing ever said in the history of the human mouth. And what about Scalia always skipping Obama’s State of the Union addresses?
What this country needs is for Scalia to be replaced by Judge Roy Bean.
Sen. Pat Roberts wants to wait until the American people have a chance to speak on the issue of a nominee for the Supreme Court. Americans in Kansas have spoken. They elected Roberts to represent us. Now he just needs to exercise his constitutional responsibility.
Now that Kris Kobach has the power to prosecute cases involving voter fraud, where are all the illegal aliens he said were trying to vote? Are they hiding with the WMDs from Iraq?
Oaths are legally acceptable for court testimony, and signatures are legally binding. Why must voters do more to register than swear under penalty of perjury that they are citizens and sign the voter-registration application?
I am tired of hearing the word “free.” There is no such thing as “free.” Someone along the line is paying for the “freebies” that others get.
I was looking forward to watching the Daytona 500, but I saw three hours of commercials occasionally interrupted by a few laps of racing. What a disappointment.
WSU coach Gregg Marshall should run for president and appoint Ron, Fred and Evan to his leadership cabinet. They would make a better option than anything we have to choose from now.
Thank you, Harper Lee, for showing us that even the deepest evil, weakness, immorality and ignorance can be redeemed with goodness, strength, integrity and enlightenment. Rest in peace.
