The city may spend $30 million for a new library but has no money for a new water source, street repair or improved bus service without a sales tax increase? What’s up with our city leaders? Smells funny to me.
Vote “no” to a new library, unless lots of beds are added for the homeless.
Gov. Sam Brownback was sworn in on Monday morning. I was hoping he wouldn’t show up.

I’m not sure about my alma mater. I got an e-mail birthday card from it on New Year’s Day. My birthday is in June. Contributions down?
Are people just unbelievably lazy when they push a grocery cart all the way toward the corral but then leave the cart sitting short of that destination in a parking stall or in the driving lane? Do they think they did a good deed by getting it almost there?
