A Supreme Court justice dies unattended. Unqualified officials decide to forgo an autopsy. Obama is in a big hurry to appoint a replacement who could change the balance of the court for decades. What part of this does not reek of conspiracy?

I will believe that foul play was involved in the death of Justice Antonin Scalia when Oliver Stone produces the movie.

Ted Cruz, Mitch McConnell and other shameless Republicans rant about letting the American people speak about the Supreme Court nomination. That is precisely what we did when we re-elected President Obama. We spoke.

I think Bill and Hillary’s alone time is starting to creep into the campaign when she stands on stage and barks like a dog.

Donald Trump’s promised wall probably has a lot of Native Americans wishing that their ancestors had done the same thing.

Italy has passed a law that someone smoking with a child or pregnant woman in a car, or who tosses a cigarette butt out the window, can be fined up to $600. It’s time to pass that type of law here. Pregnant women who smoke should also be fined.

If the city would like to generate some revenue, just have the Police Department set us a speed trap on both westbound and eastbound Kellogg at the I-235 construction zone. No one is obeying the 50 mph speed limit. It is dangerous for those of us who do.

I finally made it to a WSU game Monday. With three minutes left and the Shockers up by 26, half of the arena gets up and leaves. I’m disappointed. Is that really the message we want to be sending to our team? Stay angry, and cheer until the very end.
