I don’t mind paying more taxes if it means I get to live in a nicer city with better streets and improved quality of life.
If County Commissioners Jim Howell, Karl Peterjohn and Richard Ranzau want to fully understand exactly why they have a negative image, perhaps they should watch replays of their televised meetings. Very telling. No communications person can fix that.
It is time to do your taxes. For those of you who worked hard and moved up in the tax bracket: Get ready to be disappointed. The more money you make, the more the federal and state governments steal.

Voters: Beware of what comes out of the Bushes.

Why can’t parents keep an eye on their kids? The signs at Eastborough pond clearly say not to climb on the rocks. Yet I see 12 youngsters on the rocks. Their moms sit 200 yards away, yakking. Who needs to be disciplined?
I miss football already.
