A presidential aspirant should tell the voters, “If you will give me a Congress that will work, I’ll give you an effective government.”
There is a special place in hell for senators who in 2002 voted to invade Iraq in order to prove they were tough enough to serve as president some day.
Madeleine Albright and Gloria Steinem made stunning and outrageous statements in condemning women for not supporting Hillary Clinton. I am sure that Bernie Sanders is hoping that Hillary continues to use these ladies in her campaign, as they succeeded in offending large numbers of female voters.
Choosing the best candidates can require a great deal of time and effort. Fortunately, in Kansas we are bombarded with mailings and other media from Americans for Prosperity. To vote the best interest of Kansas, all one needs to do is pay attention, then vote against AFP’s recommendations.

Convicted murderess Jodi Arias has lost her visitation privileges for six months. This for calling a female guard a vulgar name. I am very surprised. She has visitors?
I know why – even though this isn’t Chicago, Los Angeles or Boston – drivers are so bad here. Just read the nonsense they put in the Opinion Line.
