Opinion Line Extra (Feb. 12)

Now that the New Hampshire primary is over, it appears there will be more room in the GOP clown car.

There was a super PAC called Ready for Hillary. What exactly does it mean? It’s like being ready for a prostate exam that will last for eight years.

Marco Rubio is like your typical car salesman. He must check with his handlers to know what to say before he speaks, much the same way the car salesman must always talk to the sales manager for approval before making a deal with you. Both behaviors are extremely frustrating.

Wow – Republican presidential candidates openly supporting torture of prisoners. Is this the country we have become? Is this the country we want to be?

The City Council voted on a new library for Wichita that is going to cost $33 million. When will they repair all the city streets that are falling apart? That might make us look like a “modern city” instead of a city that is broke and can’t afford to repair the streets.

I wish that the Wichita City Council would pay as much attention to us OPs (old professionals) as it does to the YPs (young professionals). OPs pay taxes, too.

I have come to the conclusion that the goal of the Super Bowl sponsors is to see who can run the most ridiculous, stupid commercial.
