AFP already targeting moderates with mailing

Koch-backed Americans for Prosperity sent out a mailing targeting moderate GOP state lawmakers who support, or might support, a federal expansion of Medicaid in Kansas, the Hutchinson News reported. Among those targeted was Sen. Carolyn McGinn, R-Sedgwick, who is undecided about expansion. The mailing likely is a preview of what’s to come during the GOP primary later this year. The large postcard features a photo of Hillary Clinton with the headline: “Expanding Medicaid Is Just Another Big Government Solution THAT WILL BANKRUPT OUR STATE.” – Phillip Brownlee
