It looks like neither of the Democratic contenders has a Poligrip on the White House bid.
Bernie Sanders may have some laudable objectives, but he would need a sizable majority of like-minded Democrats in the House and a filibuster-proof majority in the Senate to accomplish any of it. Not likely to happen very soon.
It is amazing to watch the Clinton spin machine in action. It spun Hillary’s cow patty performance in New Hampshire into a hot fudge sundae. It still leaves a bad aftertaste.
If Ross Perot had not run as an independent for president in 1992, we would now be asking: “Whatever happened to the Clintons?”
When Ronald Reagan was running for president, there was a big stink about his one divorce. But I’m not hearing anything about Donald Trump’s two divorces and three marriages. Have standards changed that much?
Three Bushes are two too many.
Dear nitwits: Obama never has had any intention of taking away your guns, nor has any president, but God will destroy all false prophets, armed or not.
I don’t know how having Rep. Mike Pompeo observe elections in Iran would serve Kansans, unless his travel arrangements were one-way.
Doctors and the feds would rather have millions of people in pain than have thousands addicted to painkillers. Brilliant.
Since the legislators and governor are such experts at education, let’s have them trade places with kindergarten teachers for a week. How long do you think they would last?
Would you go to a Kansas politician for medical care? Why not?
Some legislators have nothing better to do than look at laws other states have passed and think, “We need that one, too.” Example: restrictions on the use of tanning beds.
Why does the state allow men with beards to stand over food, cooking? That is unsanitary. The law should be changed.
So the white girl sings the national anthem with flags waving and jets flying. Then at halftime, the black girl sings about Malcolm X and hating cops. And people wonder why there is a racial divide in this country.
Professional athletes and performers need to realize they are being paid big bucks to entertain us, not themselves.
