Can the state of Kansas sue Oklahoma for earthquake damage caused by Oklahoma fracking?


Economic development continues to thrive in Wichita with PolyOne closing. More layoffs, more unemployment, more people leaving Wichita. When we do it, we do it right. Last one out turn out the lights.


I got my new personal vanity license plate from the state recently, and the really ugly color makes it look like someone threw up on my bumper.

Instead of leaving the postgame news conference in a huff, Cam Newton should have said, “If I had to lose to anyone, I’m glad it was to a great player and class act like Peyton Manning.” This would have ensured that at the end of his career he’d be looked at the same way.


While many think that quarterback Johnny Manziel has hit rock bottom in his personal and professional life, I do not think he is quite there yet. He will not have hit rock bottom until he starts dating a Kardashian.


As if the avalanche of TV commercials isn’t bad enough, how dare they show a boring commercial, then repeat it 30 seconds later during the same commercial break? Isn’t there something in our Constitution about “cruel and unusual punishment”?


I’ll probably never see it, because neither part appeals to me, but I kind of like living in a world where there’s a movie called “Pride and Prejudice and Zombies.”
