Should Wichitans be surprised that a handful of elitists vote to spend $33 million of taxpayer money to get their names on a bronze plaque rather than allowing the taxpayers to decide on a new library?


Election Day voter registration is an invitation for voter fraud. It turns volunteer election workers into untrained election commission representatives. The opportunity for fraud is why Democrats like the ACLU of Kansas promote Election Day registration.


How many jobs could have been created with the $1.6 billion in Kansas highway funds that the Brownback government has misappropriated to pay for tax cuts for the “job creators”?


Why do gun shop owners need protection? They have guns.

The U.S. government is indeed a business – one with no profit and serious financial problems whose only salvation is U.S. taxpayers. No business can hope to exist very long in this financial condition. Maybe it is time we put a successful businessman in charge, instead of professional politicians.


Hillary Clinton wants America to send her to the White House as the next president. The only house she should be going to is the big one at Leavenworth as the next convict.


Someone extolled the brilliance of Hillary Clinton. I guess I have to agree with that. She has managed to stay out of prison all these years, so she must be smart.


I notice the Republican presidential candidates talk about uniting the Republican Party while the Democrat candidates talk about uniting the country.


Mike Huckabee truly is a first-class patriot and a renowned man of integrity. Our country could have used his caliber of character in the White House, not only to help restore the Oval Office but also our nation.


Is it “body shaming” to suggest that people, including children, could benefit from wearing undergarments that would make the clothing more flattering on them? Obesity is rampant, so maybe that is the issue to call attention to.


You know this country is in trouble when prime time advertising is selling medication for opioid-induced constipation.
