Hillary Clinton got “Berned” in Iowa.
So, Donald Trump: Can you say “Looooooser?”
I’m a political junkie and I watched all of the cable news coverage of the Iowa caucuses. It dawned on me that Trump is a reality show star and not a candidate for president.
The Iowa caucuses prove once again: “Idiots Out Wandering About.”
If Rep. Mike Pompeo likes the idea of his government tracking whom its citizens call, how long they talk and how often they talk, maybe he would be happier living in Russia or China.
Pompeo is an Army veteran who serves on the House Intelligence Committee. To suggest that he doesn’t respect the Fourth Amendment is ignorant. He has been a strong supporter of the Constitution since day one in Congress. He’s doing the hard work needed to keep us safe.
Henry David Thoreau did jail time for civil disobedience. He didn’t ask for a pardon. The Rev. Martin Luther King Jr. did jail time for civil disobedience, and he didn’t ask for a pardon. Who are these Bundys? Americans or just pip-squeaks carrying guns?
The nation has seen the video of LaVoy Finicum being shot dead by federal agents while his hands were above his head. Where is the investigation into this tragedy in Oregon? Why is the Bureau of Land Management so eager to shed blood over grazing rights?
Why is it that someone who is 74 and works part time to make ends meet has to pay $413 in Kansas income tax, while 300,000 small-business owners and farmers, no matter their income, don’t have to pay a penny of Kansas income tax?
The state of Kansas cannot afford to change the marijuana laws, because law enforcement of unnecessary laws is big business.
There are nine very good reasons that the Shockers should leave the Missouri Valley Conference. In no particular order: Bradley, Drake, Loyola, Northern Iowa, Missouri State, Illinois State, Indiana State, Southern Illinois and Evansville.
Every Shocker player and fan should be insulted by Fred VanVleet not being a Bob Cousy Award finalist.
