Roberts’ ag chairmanship is great for Kansas

Congratulations to Sen. Pat Roberts, R-Kan., on becoming chairman of the Senate Agriculture Committee. He is the first lawmaker to have chaired both the House and Senate agriculture panels. The chairmanship is particularly important to Kansas, especially after Rep. Tim Huelskamp, R-Fowler, got kicked off the House Agriculture Committee – leaving the state without a seat on that committee for the first time in 100 years. – Phillip Brownlee
