WSU first should pave a portion of the golf course for a parking lot, then begin construction on the parking garage. Fewer students and staff would be inconvenienced, and the additional golf course parking would be a blessing.

How many more people have to die on K-254 before they lower the speed limit? There will be fewer accidents and deaths. Speed kills.

If Donald Trump were to run with Mike Huckabee, we would have at least one godly man in the presidential mix, and maybe God won’t punish the country as much as he’s going to with no godly candidates in the race.

Of all the adjectives used to describe Donald Trump, the best one is “obnoxious.” In all of my 75 years, I have never seen a president or serious presidential candidate be as obnoxious as Trump is.

People support Trump because he is a businessman. Don’t they understand the U.S. government is not a business? A businessman’s goal is a profit, no matter what. The government does not exist to make a profit on the backs of the people.

Obama has held no one responsible for corruption occurring under his own nose. Is this the America we want?

You people who hate President Obama have to tell us why. I think it is because he is black. A lot of what he has done is no different from what other presidents have done. At least he did not get us in a war that killed thousands for no reason.

There was a school shooting in Canada a few days ago. Since guns are strictly controlled in Canada, how does Obama explain that?

Wouldn’t it be great if all the people in this state could have the same discrimination protections being proposed for gun dealers? Pathetic.

Let’s open the state Capitol to BB guns and other air guns for shooting clubs to hold practices and competitions. If the Legislature wants to issue mandates for school districts, it should stop complaining about executive decisions by the president and open its own backyard to this nonsense.

It doesn’t surprise me that Gov. Sam Brownback will not apologize to Planned Parenthood. He does not understand the dollars it has saved taxpayers from unwanted pregnancies that are taken care of by giving free contraceptives. If you are a millionaire, you have no idea what a low-income life is like.

Where do people on welfare get the money to waste on lottery tickets?

All these people clamoring for the execution of the Carr brothers obviously have not heard that the death penalty is not a deterrent to murder. It is nothing more than revenge.
