The world would be a far, far better place if everybody would simply be responsible for themselves and own up to their mistakes.
So the city and the newspeople want us to believe that just changing the name of the airport has brought in more business. OK, then we might as well change the name of the city, too.
I am going through cancer therapy, but I’m OK with it because Vice President Joe Biden is going to cure me.
Obama showed the same negotiating deftness in trading four or five criminals for every one of our Iranian hostages as he did by trading five terrorist masterminds for Bowe Bergdahl.
I received an e-mail from Rep. Mike Pompeo decrying our social programs and saying “Kansans want this” and “Kansans want that.” Truth is, he doesn’t have a clue, and is like our other leaders who seem to pursue their own agenda. “For the people” is now “ignore the people.”
Shouldn’t the motto of Kansas be: “Tyranny through religion, taxation by theft”?
Gov. Brownback: It is basketball season. You might not want to attend any televised basketball games. Just sayin’.
Brownback wants the people to choose the Supreme Court justices? The people obviously don’t know what they are doing – they elected Brownback. Let the lawyers determine who the justices are. They work with and know judges and other attorneys.
What was I thinking when I voted for Bob Dole? Now he’s trying to take out the only true conservative running for president.
Donald Trump might want to remember what Sarah Palin did for John McCain.
Since Trump knows everything and has an answer for everything, that leaves one question that he hasn’t been asked: How does a fly land on a ceiling? If he can an- swer that, then he has my vote.
You can bet huge amounts of money that if Trump loses in the Iowa caucuses, he will claim it means nothing and that the people of Iowa are ignorant or worse.
People like Bernie Sanders are the reason I swallow my mouthwash in the morning.
Women and commercial producers: Stop using the word “cleanse” when you mean “clean.” You cleanse your soul of sin, your house of ghosts, your country of undesirables. Everything else is cleaning.
