The state of Kansas has 105 counties. The state of Kansas has 286 school superintendents. What is wrong with this picture?
So now a state senator is making rules on the types of clothing that women can wear when testifying before lawmakers. Not only are they telling the schools how to operate, they are telling the general public how to dress. Get over yourselves.
The Legislature encroached on the Kansas Supreme Court’s turf for state court administration only after the court assumed the Legislature’s role for funding schools. Liberals abhor the former usurpation but love the latter one.

Kris Kobach keeps trying to make it more difficult to register to vote in the state. How much did the latest lawsuit cost Kansas and how much will the appeal cost us? Here’s an efficiency that the audit missed.
Would it make PETA happy to let the wildlife trust in Swaziland kill the 18 elephants rather than import them by the United States? Too many in PETA have no common sense.
Would the extreme right-wingers swoon over Sarah Palin if she looked like the title character of “Throw Momma From the Train”?
The Wichita public schools provide a better education than the one Donald Trump received.
When Trump referred to “Two Corinthians” at Liberty University, it told us a lot about his authenticity. This is the kind of thing that happens when we don’t know what we are talking about. Bobby Jindal said he knew Trump had not read the Bible “because he’s not in it.”
Hillary Clinton and Bernie Sanders are again drinking downstream from their own herd.
Clinton tweeted out: “There should be no bank too big to fail and no individual too big to jail.” That rhyme could cost her some time.
Now that oil prices have been going down for several months, when do you think airline tickets will start going down? Probably never.
We should have sent Sean Penn to find Osama bin Laden.
