If a policeman tells me to stand on my head in a corner in a pile of manure, all I’ll say is, “Which corner, sir.”

It is as simple as 1, 2, 3. Obey the law. Do what police officers tell you. Don’t act like a gang banger wanna be. Do that and you won’t get shot.

After the National Rifle Association and the radical right teamed up to pass conceal and carry laws and promote the “Obama is going to take our guns away” propaganda tsunami, the result was a run on guns and ammo like this country has never seen. Is it any wonder that the police, who were against conceal and carry and the arming of America, are a little trigger-happy?

Sarah “the Pout” Palin is too sensitive to be president. And way too immature.

U.S. medical insurance is expensive because we have the best technology. We pay for virtually all the research costs of drugs and devices. Government adds huge costs via mandates, the largest of which will be Obamacare and Medicare/Medicaid cost shifting to private insurance.

I drive the speed limit because it’s the law, and I don’t like to break the law. However, if whoever wants me to speed would like to pay the ticket I could get and would put on their record, then I’ll see what I can do. Otherwise, just quit telling me how to drive.

I would be curious to know how much water is being pumped out of wells for irrigation in Kansas compared to how much oil is being pumped out. It may be the water being removed that’s the cause of earthquakes.

The University of Kansas is getting $2.1 million to study how to conserve the lesser prairie chicken’s habitat. Why don’t they just spend a few thousand dollars to study me, and then give me the money to help me conserve my habitat?
