Cheer up, Kansas, it could be worse. We could be living in Flint, Mich.
You can bet if Michigan’s governor were a Democrat, the “loud crowd” would not be asking for his resignation.
Liberals want good, right-sized government. When tea party and extremist Republicans espouse small government, what they really mean is dysfunctional, cheap government. They’ve proved it in Flint and in Kansas. The government services that Americans value, expect and deserve don’t come cheap.

Unintended results for the GOP: The prospect of Trump or Ted Cruz being elected president has brought me closer to God. I am praying we never see this happen.
Trump’s motto is, “Make America Great Again,” while Hillary Clinton’s motto is, “Let’s Keep Driving America Toward That Cliff.”
This old geezer actually shed a tear upon learning of Glenn Frey’s passing. His and the Eagles’ music has brought much joy to me through the years. “Take it easy,” old friend.
Check ignition and may God’s love be with you. Rest in peace, David Bowie.
