Opinion Line Extra (Jan. 15)

Two more “refugees” residing in the United States have been arrested for plotting to kill Americans. Yet Obama wants to bring thousands more Syrian “refugees” to our country. Is he naive, stubborn, just plain stupid or all three?


With recent harsh criticism of our president, we need to remind the right that the last two GOP administrations had the worst economies, unemployment and stock market crashes since the 1930s. Also, their foreign policy (Iraq War) was far worse than Obama’s.


I finally agree with a Donald Trump statement: His nomination would definitely increase voter turnout.


According to Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz, the head of the Democratic National Committee, if you are a woman, you must be a liberal Democrat to have value in this country. That explains why she is pushing so hard to elect Hillary Clinton. And she says the GOP is waging a war on women.


Is it really true that some folks will vote for Hillary just because she is a female? Look at the mess we’re in because so many people voted for Obama just because he is black.


I am a woman, 81 years old. I don’t care whether there is ever a female president. I want the best possible person we can get to run this country. And I certainly hope I never get senile enough to base my vote totally on gender.


With only 26 percent of the population thinking Obama has the country heading in the right direction, why would people want that to continue by electing Hillary Clinton?


What with Iran doing things to upset Obama nowadays, I am afraid it is too little too late to get him riled up. It took him six years to start treating our flag with respect, as well as our soldiers. I put Obama in the same category as Jane Fonda.


Obama: Wants more gun restrictions for Americans. Enables Iran to obtain nukes. You voted for him.


The message of hope in the State of the Union blew me away – possibly the most consequential speech by the most consequential man of the past century. I hope we can make him king of the world or something. The planet needs this man and his vision to save it.


Republican Marco Rubio is upset that a woman sailor had to wear a head scarf. Give me a break. It was not an international incident. She was with other sailors in Iranian territory.


How about denying patent protection for corporations that move offshore to avoid taxation?


Be happy. Do good. And change the channel to stop spewing the hateful misinformation that does not make you happy and able to do any good.
