Obama’s faux economy is unraveling faster than a knit sweater caught in a teeter-totter.
You’re telling me we have the money to “relocate” and “resettle” an undetermined number of “refugees,” but not enough to supply our seniors with a Social Security increase?
Obama is more than proving that a community organizer knows nothing about foreign policy.
The Republicans made a major issue about President Obama’s religion. Tell us, Republicans, what is Donald Trump’s religion?
Another Trump lie? He and his advertising keep saying that Mexico will pay for the fence separating us from them. But I have not seen or heard any confirmation of this from Mexican authorities.
Bernie Sanders recently claimed that he is not a career politician. I agree. If someone is terrible at his job for 25 years, I wouldn’t call that a career either.
The NRA chose to not participate in the president’s town hall forum on gun control, saying it was a public relations spectacle orchestrated by the White House. In other words, it was a public relations spectacle the NRA’s lobbyists couldn’t control.
NRA members are only brave when standing behind the guns they so desperately promote for huge financial gain. By not attending the president’s town hall regarding the very subject they, of all people, should take major responsibility for, they showed a nation their true color is yellow.
I don’t know why anyone one is surprised that the gun control measures Obama announced won’t do much. It is all about show, not results. Let’s just pretend we are doing something. TSA, anyone? That is one reason why the public is so fed up with our government.
How much damage from earthquakes in our area will be necessary until someone in government (not in oil company pockets) stops oil and gas fracking?
Earthquakes are nature’s way of saying that fracking gives it indigestion.
West Wichita doesn’t need an event center. What do you call the Cotillion?
My newspaper carrier could throw the paper on the roof before I would complain. It’s a hard job and I am so thankful for the personal service.
I always enjoy an article on a business around for decades that I have no knowledge of. Nice write-up on Devon Luggage (Jan. 7 Business Today).
It is both appropriate and ironic that the Daily Prayer appears at the end of the Opinion Line comments. Each prayer should conclude with “Lord, help us!”
